What is iShowInvoice?

iShowInvoice is a simple, fast, and free online invoice generator. You can create, preview, and download professional invoices in PDF format for your business or freelance work.

How do I create an invoice?

  1. Fill in your company details: Enter your company name, logo, address, email, phone, website, and optional Tax ID label/value in the "From" section.
  2. Add your client’s details: Fill in the "Bill To" and "Ship To" fields with your client’s information, including email and phone.
  3. Enter invoice details: Set the invoice number, date (defaults to today), due date, and select your preferred currency.
  4. Add items: List the products or services you are billing for. Each item requires a description, quantity, and rate.
  5. Apply taxes, discount, and shipping: Add any applicable taxes, discount, or shipping charges.
  6. Add notes and terms: Include any additional notes or payment terms for your client.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I save my invoice and edit it later?

Yes! Your invoice is automatically saved as a draft in your browser. You can return and continue editing at any time.

Which contact fields are supported?

You can add Email, Phone, and Website for your business in the From section, as well as an editable Tax ID label (e.g., GST/VAT/ABN) and value. For your client, you can add Email and Phone in the Bill To section.

How do I view my invoice history?

Click on the History link in the navigation bar to see all invoices you have generated on this device. (These invoices are stored in your browser's storage so once you clear the browser history, All invoices will be removed from history.)

What file format are invoices downloaded in?

Invoices are downloaded as PDF files, which are easy to share and print.

Can I add my company logo and signature?

Yes! Click the "+ Add Your Logo" area to upload your company logo. You can also add a signature image if needed.

What currencies are supported?

iShowInvoice supports a wide range of global currencies. Select your preferred currency from the dropdown in the invoice form.
